My n=1 with supplements (30'000 IU Vitamin D daily + Zinc in Winter, Magnesium / Potassium supplements recently replaced with Celtic salt in the morning water):
Before
Every winter I had a cold that turned into a bronchitis that didn't leave until summer. I had covid very early in the pandemic.
After
My longest cold lasted 1 day and was extremely mild.
And this is supported by research showing the importance of vitamin D and Zinc for immune support and the ones showing that people are chronically deficient in the west. Note: the deficiency is most probably measured against way too low standards of vitamin D levels.
So now who do we believe? Dr Neil Neil or science?
